Resident Teacher: Gen Kelsang Rigma
Gen Rigma has been the main teacher at Khedrubje Buddhist Centre for 25 years, she is known for her clarity and wisdom.
Gen Rigma has been a student of her Spiritual Guide, the Meditation Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, for over 35 years; during that time she has been a Buddhist Nun for over 20 years. She teaches a number of classes here at Khedrubje Buddhist Centre is deeply appreciated by our community.
As the Resident Teacher in Hull, Gen Rigma has been instrumental in the development of Khedrubje Centre. She devotes her time to teaching the various courses and study programmes at the Centre, and also teaches in locations outside of Hull. She is valued in her formal capacity as a teacher, and also as a spiritual friend.
We at Khedrubje Buddhist Centre and throughout the humber area feel very fortunate to have such a qualified and experienced practioner of Buddha's teachings as our principle teacher here in Hull.
