The world is the result of the karma, or actions, of the beings who inhabit it. A pure world is the result of pure actions and an impure world is the result of impure actions. Since all actions are created by mind, ultimately everything, including the world itself, is created by mind. There is no creator other than the mind.
On this day course we will learn how we can use the power of imagination to transform our experience of our world so from unpeaceful to peaceful, from negative to positive, and from impure to pure. In Buddhism imagination is very powerful; and in the modern age it is an underused power that can be harnessed to positively transform our mind.
